Sydney Hagshama’s Israeli Film Club, Arutz Chamesh, this month was in the spirit of the upcoming Mardi Gras, showing a controversial film about the clash of having the Gay Pride Parade in the world's Holiest city. Screened in one of Sydney’s well-known comedy bars, 20 young adults were challenged by the movie “Jerusalem is PROUD to Present” and were given the opportunity to engage with Aliyah Shaliach Shai Feniger who is personally involved with gay rights & gay establishments in Israel.
Lake Forest College near Chicago started the semester off with Israel on their minds, holding a post-Taglit-Birthright Israel night for students to explore the possibilities and discuss Israel.
